Earlier this month, the Rotary Club of Chichester Priory involving nine of its members worked with Bishop Luffa School to give over 200 14-16 year olds such help, using considerable support from leading employers in the area. Thirty-three professionals from eight organisations such as Lewis Brownlee, Chichester Festival Theatre, Rolls-Royce, John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Chichester District Council, The Sussex Pub Company and Irwin Mitchell Solicitors contributed their valuable time to the project.

The students who had little or no experience of interviews gained enormously in confidence following a difficult period during the pandemic.

“ This was a really positive result and our students benefitted from growing confidence and knowing what to do in an interview”.

Mr Hindman Head Teacher, of Bishop Luffa School

“It was really helpful to have the opportunity to find out what is like to undertake an interview and the sorts of questions that are likely to be asked.  It will certainly help me in the future when I start having job interviews.”
